Connected Television: Where's The Growth?

Analysis and forecasts for the five ways of connecting a TV set to the internet

About this Market
A 'connected TV set' can be connected to the internet either directly (i.e. using a cable or via the home Wi-Fi network) or indirectly (i.e. via another device which is itself connected to the Internet). A 'connected TV set' must also be able to be used to access OTT content using its connection to the internet.

The connected television market is growing and growth will continue over the next 5 years: we project that 180 million homes worldwide will have at least one connected TV device by the end of 2014 and that this will increase to 373 million homes by the end of 2018
